Getting There:  From Durango, take Hwy 160 west, towards Cortez. Approximately 2 miles after crossing the Animas River, take a LEFT on Hwy 141/ Wildcat Canyon. Drive south ,up canyon, for FOUR miles. Then, take a RIGHT on C.R. 125. Drive on CR 125 for ONE mile. At this point, go straight when the road bears right. Drive through the posts ( “Children Playing” sign) on a small road until you reach the end (1/10th mile) and our barn.

More Information: This is a long shuttle, approximately 3-3.5 hours. Please, eat lunch before you meet us, or bring a lunch with you. Pack a jacket, it is usually chilly when we arrive at camp. Please call (970) 759-8737 if you need help.

Back to your Vehicle / Pick-up:   If someone is going to pick you up at the end of the trek, have them pick you up at the meeting location as described above. Pick up time is Saturday at 10:00 A.M. For individuals who have vehicles parked, you will be at your vehicle at this time.

Day 2: Spring Creek Pass (Hinsdale or Mineral County)
Day 3, 4: Carson Saddle via Wager Gulch (Hinsdale County)
Day 5: Stony Pass (San Juan County)
Day 6: Big Molas Lake-Silverton Public Campground (San Juan County)
